Connection excite the action
Form development Study
October 15 - November 18
The purpose of this project was to select a product out of all household appliances and then redesign it. The purpose was to enhance the aesthetics of its form to be more connected and desirable to customers.
I decided to remodel and redesign a vacuum cleaner. I wanted to evaluate the usage of vacuum and see how this device could be improved.

This product concentrate mainly on Physiological, Sociological, and Psychological aspects of connection with a user.
Prototyping
pink foam
After defining my user persona, and the desired aesthetics, I moved to the prototyping phase where I have built 6 prototypes to test and study the form of my product to help me find the satisfying direction of my design.
After analyzing each prototype and getting feedback on the form aesthetics I chose the most successful one and sketched out some form exploration.
Moodboards
'modern' inspiration
Whenever I got through primary research and ideation of my desired form I set an aesthetic direction. I made two mood boards that were meant to guide me through the design process and how the product connects or rather expresses emotional and physical appearance to the user.
I created two different boards. There are hard attributes that are supposed to express how the product will look, and on the right, I have put together a set of images that I would like my product to embody in terms of its aesthetics as an expression of emotion.
